In 1920, as the 19th Amendment of the United States Constitution was ratified, the League of Women Voters was established to “finish the fight.”
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has worked tirelessly to improve our systems of government and impact public policies through citizen education and advocacy.  The League encourages women to exercise their vote, won by the hard work of thousands of citizens who fought for women’s full citizenship since the inception of the United States of America.
